SMF VC and Finance Evening – Building Technology Companies, Jobs and Value
Wednesday 14 November at 7PM
The Rubens Hotel
39 Buckingham Palace Road
London, SW1W 0PS

Following on from the recent discussions, we want to establish a network of SMFs who are involved, either in a professional or personal capacity, in the starting, scaling and capital provision to engineering/technology-focused companies. Over time, we would open this to all SMFs where relevant.

Our analysis shows that there are currently at least 40 SMFs who are actively investing in businesses, covering a range of geographies, sectors and stages. The collective knowledge and track record are exceptional and we want to find an efficient way to bring us together.

Topics for the evening will include the following:

  • An update on the SMFs, scale and scope of the potential network
  • A couple of case studies from SMFs around how they have successfully grown tech businesses; significant value and job creation
  • Update on the SMF and Royal Academy Enterprise Hubs and related schemes
  • Discussion Framework around how we may be able to get the Network to efficiently work (given busy schedules, geographies etc.)

Individual Invitations will be extended to all SMFs working in the financial sector. However, if you are interested in attending, please contact Cathy Breeze
