Engineering entrepreneur who has set up a new company which has solved one of life's annoyances - leaking plastic milk bottles. Innovative joint ventures and a flexible approach to raising capital has placed this young company on the threshold of a packaging revolution and global commercial success.
- Entrepreneur and co-inventor of revolutionary plastic moulding technology for liquid packaging applications, which eliminates leaks and cuts production costs.
- Made successful, innovative joint ventures world-wide to manufacture the technology in tandem with major customers.
- Innovative approach to product development has brought this new product to market in less than a third of the expected time.
- Forging particularly strong partnerships in Australia and the USA.
- Spent 6 years as an control/electrical engineer with ICI, followed by three years at Tetra Pak Moulded Packaging Systems division, ending as Head of Projects.
- MBA at IMD in 1994 led to the setting up of Bapco Closures, just four years later, for which Henning is the Managing Director. A successful fundraising in 2005 has led to rapid expansion of this company with its first European factory in the Isle of Man, with separate R&D facility in Northern Ireland.
